I don’t know about you but I love anything Google creates. Recently I asked a few teachers if they would join me in going through the on-line Google courses to become a Google Educator. Many teachers answered that call and together we are learning and growing in our knowledge and understanding of all Google has to offer to the field of education.
The first of the Google Educator courses focuses on Gmail. I learned so much and kept thinking, “I wish I would have known this years ago!” I’ve had a Gmail account for a few years now but it wasn’t until just recently that I discovered so many ways Gmail can make me more productive and organized.
I learned that Gmail is not just for email. It is a tool that allows you to communicate with family, friends and colleagues in real-time using Google chat in Gmail. Watch this brief video to get you started with Google chat.
