Texas Early Mathematics Intervention – RtI for Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

If you are a Texas RtI specialist or a K-2 classroom teacher struggling to find tiered math materials for your students on RtI you are going to love what I am about to share!

Today I spent the day in training learning about a free RtI math intervention program available on-line for all Texas teachers. The research and materials were funded by TEA. Everything is aligned to the TEKS.

This program is excellent for providing tiered instruction for students struggling in math. It comes complete with a universal screener, units with daily lessons, unit checks, aims checks and progress monitoring forms. It is also available in Spanish. Be sure to check out the Strategies and Activities for Independent Learning — Mathematics (SAIL Into Math) Booklet and Games. This booklet is full of math activities perfect for math rotations.

Hello, Nancy! Can this program still be used even with the new Math TEKS in place? We have been struggling to find Tier 2 and 3 intervention materials that are research-based. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!

My school district continues to use these materials, even with the new TEKS.
